GLASGOW, July 3: With the match called off without a ball being bowled, the weather gods weren't too kind to the Indian and Pakistani fans at the Clydesdale Cricket Ground here. Still, that didn't stop them from creating a carnival-like atmosphere. Like with every India-Pakistan clash, die-hard fans had bought their tickets weeks in advance. On Tuesday morning, proudly wearing their team's colours and waving their national flags, stood in a long queue to get into the stadium. The organisers, being cautious about security, parked the Indians fans on one side of the field while the Pakistani fans were accommodated in the stands right across. Again, 'no-nonsense' security personnel took charge near the boundary ropes.
